Michaela Berendt is a progressive fundraiser and advocate.
Michaela specializes in political affairs and executive management at the national, state, and corporate level.
She excels in stakeholder management, public sector marketing, and high-profile executive engagements. Prior to joining the Harris-Walz presidential campaign as Deputy Director, Western US Finance in 2024, Michaela garnered seven years of experience successfully managing the Microsoft Corporation Stakeholders Voluntary PAC (MSVPAC) within the technology industry, a critical relationship building tool by which Microsoft employees engage with federal, state, and local elected officials. Michaela also served as Finance Chair for Denny Heck’s winning Lieutenant Governor campaign in 2020 and as Deputy Finance Director for Maria Cantwell’s U.S. Senate reelection campaign in 2018.
Dedicated to community service, Michaela serves on the board of the One Redmond Foundation and participates in various advocacy boards on progressive issues. Her mission is to drive meaningful change, particularly in the areas of economic, reproductive, climate, and social justice.
Michaela holds an MBA specializing in ESG and Global Business from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. She also earned a BA from Villanova University, where she captained the women’s varsity volleyball team. Proud to be both a Wildcat and a Dawg, Michaela resides in Seattle, WA, and is a childless cat lady.
